Why the location matters less than it looks
A mobile notary’s travel is part of the appointment rather than a surcharge on top of it. That means a location forty minutes out is a scheduling question, not a pricing one.
It also means the places that genuinely need a mobile notary are not offices at all — they are hospital rooms, care facilities, detention centres and living rooms. That is why we ask for the facility name and unit when you call.

Do you travel outside the Bay Area?
For areas further out, call and describe the appointment — it may still be workable depending on travel and the day.
Is travel charged extra?
Travel is part of the appointment rather than an added fee. What the notarization costs depends on the document and how many signatures are involved — call for that, and we will tell you before we come.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes. Office appointments are routine, and we can work around a closing, a board meeting or a lunch break if that is what the day allows.
What does a notary actually do?
A notary’s job is to verify identity and witness a signature, then attach an official seal to the document. A notary cannot give legal advice about what you should sign. If you are unsure whether a document is right for your situation, speak with the attorney or professional who prepared it before you sign anything in front of the notary.
What do I need to sign in front of a notary?
Bring the unsigned document, a current government-issued photo ID with your name and photograph on it, and any other people whose signatures the document requires. If a document needs witnesses, tell us when you book so we can arrange them.
Do you come to me?
Yes. This is a mobile notary service: we travel to your home, office, hospital room, care facility or a meeting point of your choosing. There is no office for you to visit.
