Mobile notary · Same-day appointments

A commissioned notary who travels to you — your home, your office, a hospital room, a care facility, or a coffee shop you prefer. Loan signings, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, apostilles and the documents nobody wants to deal with on a weekday.

What we do

Most people find us through one of these. If you are not sure which one you need, describe the document and we will tell you — including when the honest answer is that you need an attorney rather than a notary.

How it works

Four steps, and no charge for the trip.

Tell us what needs signing

Call, text or send the form below. A short description is enough to tell you whether this is something we can do.

Get a time and place confirmed

We agree a time and a location that works for you — your home, your office, a coffee shop, a hospital room, or a meeting room you book.

We arrive with what we need

The notary brings identification and the seal. Nothing is signed until we are together.

Signed, sealed, and a copy for you

You get the notarized document back, and we can courier it on if it needs to be somewhere by a deadline.

What to bring

This list prevents the two things that derail most appointments: a missing ID and a document signed too early.

  • The document, unsigned. A signature already on it usually cannot be notarized later.
  • A current government-issued photo ID with your name and photograph on it — a driver’s licence, state ID, or passport.
  • Any other people whose signatures the document requires. Tell us when you book so we can allow the time.
  • Witnesses, if the document requires them and you do not have your own. Say so when you book and we will arrange it.

Not legal advice

A notary verifies identity and witnesses or acknowledges signatures. A notary cannot tell you what to sign, whether a document is right for you, or what it will do. If you have that kind of question it belongs to the lawyer, title company, lender or physician who prepared the document. Ask them before the appointment, not during it.

Questions

Questions people ask

What does a notary actually do?
A notary’s job is to verify identity and witness a signature, then attach an official seal to the document. A notary cannot give legal advice about what you should sign. If you are unsure whether a document is right for your situation, speak with the attorney or professional who prepared it before you sign anything in front of the notary.
What do I need to sign in front of a notary?
Bring the unsigned document, a current government-issued photo ID with your name and photograph on it, and any other people whose signatures the document requires. If a document needs witnesses, tell us when you book so we can arrange them.
Do you come to me?
Yes. This is a mobile notary service: we travel to your home, office, hospital room, care facility or a meeting point of your choosing. There is no office for you to visit.
Can you notarize a document I already signed?
Generally no. Notarization normally requires the notary to witness the signature, or to take an acknowledgment from you in person about a signature you made. A signature with no acknowledgment available cannot be notarized after the fact. Bring the document unsigned.
Will you advise me on my documents?
No. Notaries are not permitted to give legal advice. We explain the notarization process itself — what we will ask, what we will look at, and what the certificate means — but the content of your document has to come from the lawyer, title company, or financial institution that prepared it.
How do I get a same-day appointment?
Call or text the number on this page and say you need a same-day appointment. Availability depends on where we are and when you are calling, so earlier in the day helps.
What places can you notarize at?
Anywhere that is legal to sign and that a notary may attend — homes, offices, coffee shops and libraries, hospital and hospice rooms, and many care facilities. Facilities such as jails and hospitals have their own rules about who may enter and when, and those rules belong to the facility, not to us. Call with the facility name and we will work out what is possible.
