Witness Coordination

Some documents are only valid if witnessed by people with no stake in the outcome. A beneficiary cannot witness a will in most cases, and neither can someone married to a beneficiary. That constraint is what makes witness coordination a real service rather than a convenience.

We supply witnesses who are eligible and who have no connection to the document, and we are there as the notary at the same time. Tell us what the document requires when you book — the number of witnesses, whether they must be disinterested, and whether they must sign in the notary’s presence all matter, and getting it wrong is not something you can fix afterwards.

Documents we notarize in this category

  • Wills requiring two or more disinterested witnesses
  • Real estate documents requiring witness signatures
  • Affidavits requiring witness attestation
  • Documents where witnesses must sign in the notary’s presence
  • Coordination for signing appointments with several people present

How an appointment works

Four steps, no surprises, and no charge for the trip — the fee is for the notarization.

Tell us what needs signing

Call, text or send the form below. A short description is enough to tell you whether this is something we can do.

Get a time and place confirmed

We agree a time and a location that works for you — your home, your office, a coffee shop, a hospital room, or a meeting room you book.

We arrive with what we need

The notary brings identification and the seal. Nothing is signed until we are together.

Signed, sealed, and a copy for you

You get the notarized document back, and we can courier it on if it needs to be somewhere by a deadline.

What to bring

Most appointments fail on a missing ID or a document that was signed too early. This list prevents both.

  • The document, unsigned. A signature already on it usually cannot be notarized later.
  • A current government-issued photo ID with your name and photograph on it — a driver’s licence, state ID, or passport.
  • Any other people whose signatures the document requires. Tell us when you book so we can allow the time.
  • Witnesses, if the document requires them and you do not have your own. Say so when you book and we will arrange it.

Not legal advice

A notary verifies identity and witnesses or acknowledges signatures. A notary cannot tell you what to sign, whether a document is right for you, or what it will do. If you have that kind of question it belongs to the lawyer, title company, lender or physician who prepared the document. Ask them before the appointment, not during it.

Where we work

Appointments are scheduled around where you are. Travel is arranged per appointment rather than on a fixed route, so a town not listed below may still be workable — call and ask.

Questions about this service

Questions people ask

What does a notary actually do?
A notary’s job is to verify identity and witness a signature, then attach an official seal to the document. A notary cannot give legal advice about what you should sign. If you are unsure whether a document is right for your situation, speak with the attorney or professional who prepared it before you sign anything in front of the notary.
What do I need to sign in front of a notary?
Bring the unsigned document, a current government-issued photo ID with your name and photograph on it, and any other people whose signatures the document requires. If a document needs witnesses, tell us when you book so we can arrange them.
Do you come to me?
Yes. This is a mobile notary service: we travel to your home, office, hospital room, care facility or a meeting point of your choosing. There is no office for you to visit.
Why does my document need a disinterested witness?
Many documents are only valid if signed by witnesses who have no stake in the outcome. A beneficiary, or a person married to a beneficiary, generally cannot serve. If a document calls for disinterested witnesses we can arrange them as part of the appointment, and we will tell you in advance if that is what your document requires.
